Dear Homeowner,

Testimonials:
"Hey
Jack, I just
had to tell you thanks for all of the pointers, especially on how to
approach the technical work I needed to do. That kind of stuff scared
me to death,
but you helped me to keep it simple, and before I realized it, I was
working like a Pro, well almost :-)"

"Most
of the
people I work with and I did too, that is until I bought your book and
audios, thought of me as a book worm. Many have even called me an
educated idiot! Well, that may be so, since I do love to read, but now
I know that is not true at all! I was once thought to be unable to
drive a nail, except my thumbnail :) Your book taught me how to
remodel my kitchen and keep it on a budget. By the way, Refacing the
cabinets your way helped me finish under my budget! I can't ever thank
you enough!!"

"I
have done a
little wood working in the past, when I was in high school, but I never
went any further than that. Our home is fairly new, but we wanted to
make a few changes to suit our needs. We didn't have the money to hire
it done, so I searched the Internet for some ideas. Thankfully I found
your website! I just followed your simple instructions, and before I
knew it, we had our addition done, and we saved thousands, rather than
having it done by a contractor! Plus, we did it ourselves! Buying you
book, audios, and the bonuses have become the best investment we ever
made, with the
exception of our home! Sharon and I can't thank you enough!"

"I
hope you will
use this as a testimonial because I can't think of anybody that is less
qualified to do any kind of remodeling than me. The closest thing to
remodeling that I have ever done is painting, and I made a big mess of
it! It took me longer to clean the paint off the windows than I spent
painting them. When my daughter saw what kind of trouble I was having,
so
she went on the Internet and found your book and audios. My husband
passed away 5 years ago and I can't afford to hire things done around
here, so I have to do them, get my daughter and her husband to do it,
or do it myself. I am now 61 years old, but I'm not old old! Your book
and audios have help me to be confident in maintaining my home now
without making another big mess. Thank you so much, I could just hug
your neck!"

"A Beginner's Guide To Home
Remodeling"
has become like the Bible of home remodeling to my wife and me! Not
only have I learned how to determine what projects I should do and
should not do myself, like having that slab for our new garage poured
by a professional, but my wife and I are having a ball putting our
heads together and coming with new ideas about improving the value of
our home. Your book and audios are straight, to the point, and easy to
follow instructions. With the bonus books and all, we are now thinking
of buying some rental homes, since we know how to put your suggestions
to work. Who
knows where this is going to lead us!"
Thanks
a million!

My Guests Visiting My Website, I Really Want You To See This
Communication With One Of My Customers!
Dear Jack, my wife and I bought an
older
home
three years ago. We knew we would have to put have to do some
remodeling before we bought our home.
However, we were not completely sure
as to
how much we were really going to have to do, until after we bought our
home and lived here for a while.
You see, our home is about 100 years old, and maybe among some of the
first
homes built in this area close to Charleston, SC. We want to preserve
as much of the original home as possible, but we need to update the
wiring, plumbing, and insulation.
In your book, you covered all types of
projects, and how to plan projects from A to Z. What I would like to
know is where should we start with our renovation? I just feel
overwhelmed even after reading your book and listening to your audios
several times. I know how to do a most of the work, so I won't need
much help from a contractor. I don't want to spend extra
money
for an architect because we aren't changing the layout of the home.
What do you suggest?
Sincerely,
Terry

Hi Terry, If I were you, the first
thing I
would do is determine if there is any asbestos in the home. If that is
the case, you may need to hire a professional to eliminate that
problem for you. Your county or city building department or USDA
Extension Agent should be able to let you know if have a problem.
Chances are, you don't, but it doesn't hurt to check. These resources
will tell you for sure, if you have a problem. There are companies that
will tell you that you have a problem when you don't. The things you
run into with older buildings is the different types of building
practices, such as plaster and lathe walls. Now this is not a hazard,
until you disturb the plaster, if asbestos is present. Then you may
need to contract asbestos removal professionals. There is another thing
you should consider, which is take a bit of caution, and
check
for the presence of paint that contains lead. You may want
too
hire a contractor who will remove that hazard as well. With
the
exterior walls finally open, you will be able to do your plumbing,
electrical, and insulation. When you get ready to do the walls, you can
use Veneer Plaster to finish your walls, in order to keep the plaster
wall look. This modern system costs just slightly more than regular
drywall.
Good
Luck!
Take your time, so you don't have to do it over!

If you're interested
in remodeling your home… increasing your
home's value… or making it more beautiful by starting a home
improvement project… then you've found the right
website!
Here's the short story…
Over Twenty Five Years Of
Beautifying Homes…
I worked ten years for a major home
construction
company in Georgia (we'll just call them ABC
Construction).
I didn't build the houses. No I
was what they called the "punch out guy" I am a "Jack Of All Trades,
And Master Of Many."
What I did was AFTER the homes were
built… and the home buyers had already moved in…
I came around and fixed various little
“mistakes”…
Things like shoddy molding jobs…
doors that didn't close right… re-caulking
bathtubs and windows… all the “small
stuff” that really goes a long way towards making a house
into a beautiful home.
Often times, after fixing small things in a
person's home, they'd ask me if I could fix bigger
things… or help with full blown remodeling projects.
Things like…
• Refinishing
kitchen floors…
• Adding a deck...
• Closing in a porch…
• Installing
hardwood floors or
carpets…
• Laying tiles and
other flooring in the bathroom…
• Finishing
basements...
• And tons of
other remodeling projects
So after a little pleading, arm twisting,
and
begging (not really) from
these home owners I started saying yes. Many times, I felt the home
owners enjoyed taking on the jobs themselves, or what is known as "Do
It Yourself" remodeling... DIY Home Remodeling, also.
Nevertheless, the projects were home remodeling
jobs, which in turn increased the home value and functionality.
I didn't see any conflict of
interests with the construction company.
I guess the construction company
did see a conflict, and they didn't like that I was making money "on
the
side," whether it was in a consulting capacity or actually doing
the home improvement, so…
Although They Didn't
Do Remodeling
work,
We Agreed To Disagree! We
parted ways on good terms, as a matter of fact, they still call me in
to pick up their work load at times.
I was so busy doing remodeling homes for the
various people who wanted me to (and their friends), and many do it
yourself home projects were as a consultant, or just the guy who gave
tips and ideas about how to go about doing the simple things all the
way to teaching the home owner on how to plan, budget, and do their
home improvements.
In a short while, I ran into a problem I never
would
of thought I'd be having…
I Got Way Too Busy!
You see, when you give quality work, the word
gets around and before you know it, I was way too busy. That is not a
bad problem to have in today's economy. With real estate property
values being down, I am finding that more and more people are doing
many different types of home remodeling projects. These remodeling
projects cover everything from landscapping to room additions. Maybe
the family is growing and there is a need for adding a new Beddroom,
Master Suite, or adding a
Bathroom. There are as many home renovation projects as there
are homes; each project is unique in itself.
For example, my mother passed away in August 2008, and my family is
having
to sell the home where we grew up... It is a very well built home, but
it
needs to be updated.. A three bedroom, one bath home is not an ideal
home in any real estate market, so we are adding another bathroom. The
original bathroom also is being remodeled, heck, the house was built in
the late 1940's! Plastered walls and ceilings are also getting a face
lift. These types of remodeling projects are not difficult to do
yourself, as long as you have some instructions and tips that you need
to get started.
I had people asking me to do remodeling
projects for them… and there just weren't enough
hours in the day.
Some people really needed me to do the
whole remodeling project… and others… were the
"Do It Yourself" type
people who only wanted my
advice, or needed a little help. Hey, if you are willing to do your
homework, DIY Home Renovation is the way to go, and a good contractor
will only do what
you want them to do, and be content with letting you do the rest of the
work. Many of my customers are single mothers who aren't afraid to
tackle theit remodeling jabs ;-)
{You go girls!}
There are still people that need me to do it all,
I
can only help by giving top quality work at the best value (that's just
the way it
goes)… I can't stress that enough. Some things are just not for
everyone.
But I started to think about how I could
help those other people. The people who were ready and willing to do it
themselves, but just needed a helping hand. Home remodeling Tips
and Ideas
that would help them get the job done.
That's when I realized I had a lot
of knowledge that could help so many people... but I didn't have any
good ways to teach them...
Unless I wrote a book about
How To
Remodel Your Home!
“Could This Be A Fool Idea?”
(I Don't Think So, I hope)
So I went ahead and made an outline of all
my best information on remodeling homes… and recorded myself
talking about it… telling everything I had learned over twenty plus
years.
Everything You Need
To Know About Home Remodeling!
This is the complete guide that would have
cut YEARS off my learning curve if I had read it when I first got
started in this business. It's called
"A
Beginner's
Guide To Home Remodeling"
But it goes beyond just A Beginner's Guide To Home Remodeling; You Have
To Start Some Where. I have included tips and advanced methods that
will (In My Opinion) be useful to the well seasoned Do It Yourself Home
Remodeler.
Here are just some of
what's inside…
• Remodeling 101: Why
remodel in the first place? And
how getting clear on your goals early on will save you a lot of
headache and trouble down the road! (pages 5-7)
• My top ten
“best value projects” that are
quick, easy and greatly increase the value of your home almost
immediately
(page 8)
• Five reasons why
I strongly recommend you consider hiring a professional architect to
draft your next remodeling project (especially if
it’s your first
one!)
{Plan your work and work your plan} (pages 13-14)
• Never-fail ways
to remodel your kitchen for maximum value (pages 18-20) Today
we want to increase our home value as much as possible. Your home is
probably the largest investment you will ever make, so you want to
maximize its value whenever possible.
• My top ten tips
for remodeling your master bedroom and bathroom(s) to
add the most value and beauty to your home (pages 20-21)
• Why you would
want to remodel your basement and ten tips you
absolutely must know before you start to make sure it all goes smoothly
(pages 23-26) A basement is the most cost effective floor space bar
none!
• The five places
(most people don’t know about) where you’re much
better off putting down carpet instead of hardwood
floors (pages 28-30)
• Need Money For
Remodeling? Here's my 5
"go-to" resources to get the finances you need to
remodel (pages 32-34)
One is simply saving a set amount from your pay day consistantly. If
you plan ahead, you may have plenty of money set aside to do the entire
remodel before you know it. the key is this, if you don't see it,you
want miss it!
• Are you making
these five beginners remodeling mistakes? Read pages
34-37 to find out… and also discover how to avoid each and
every one of them (you’ll save yourself tons of money and
hassle in the process!)
• What to do when a
contractor you've hired doesn't show up…
and how to deal with other common "hold ups" like
permits, material shortages, running out of money and more (pages
38-41) (Hint - Planning is key here)
• Plus much, MUCH
MORE!
This
just scratches the surface of what's
in the book.
I
give you everything you need to know about
remodeling homes.
I'm
sure that right about now, you're
wondering...
How Much Does The
Book Cost?
The real question is:
how much is it worth
to finally know all the stuff about remodeling your home that you've
always wanted to know?
I suppose you could do what most people do
-- just "make it up as you go", and use the "trial and error"
method. Oops is the last thing you
want when you are spending your hard
earned money. Plan your work
and work your plan. I can't stress that
enough!
But why not take advantage of the
experience and knowledge I've put into this simple book? I believe in
keeping everything as simple as possible.
I boil it all down for you in very
simple, easy to understand terms. Less than 100 pages -- no fluff, all
information you can put to work right now.
Originally the price of
